St. Olaf Catholic Church presents internationally acclaimed music group, The Steeles, for the first “Of Ministry and Music” event. The community concert of celebration will feature J.D., Fred, Jearlyn, Jevetta, and Billy Steele. At St. Olaf, we are blessed to have a magnificent 67-rank pipe organ. This fall, it will be showcased in a series of recitals on Wednesday afternoons, immediately following the noon Mass. Come hear the organ thunder with might and whisper gently as talented organists showcase a variety of repertoire. Recitals will be 30-40 minutes long. Totino-Grace students will spend the day at St. Olaf – hosting and serving a party for our Samaritan Ministry guests while entertaining and getting to know the guests and our parish volunteers. IT’S BACK!!! This city-wide event invites all once again to fill Saint Olaf Church with the sounds of George Frederic Handel’s much loved oratorio, Messiah. Schola Cantorum of Eau Claire, a 12-voice choir from Wisconsin dedicated to early music, is excited to present “Mystery & Mirth”. This selection of music from renaissance Spain celebrates the mystery of the Virgin birth, and the human aspects of the Christmas story.
