Christi Eucharistic Procession
Sunday
June 11th after the 10am Mass
"I am the living bread that
came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread
that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world." -John 6:51
The Bishops of
the United States are calling for a three-year grassroots revival of devotion
and belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. They believe that
God wants to see a movement of Catholics across
the United States, healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with
Jesus in the Eucharist—and sent out in mission “for the life of the world.”
For on our part, Saint Olaf on Sunday June 11th will have a Eucharistic procession around
the block immediately after the 10am Mass. The procession should be around 15-20 minutes. We hope you can join us for a witness of our
faith and healing from Jesus the Divine Physician.
As St. Pope John Paul
II said; “The
Church has received the Eucharist from Christ her Lord not as one gift … among
so many others, but as the gift par excellence, for it is the gift of himself,
of his person in his sacred humanity, as well as the gift of his saving work.”
– Ecclesia de Eucharistia, 11
