WHY DO YOU GIVE?

During the past fiscal year, parishioners, associate parishioners and visitors contributed 77% of all revenue. Every financial gift offered revealed the immensity of Jesus’ love for each of us.

As we come together as a community in Downtown Minneapolis, whether at the Eucharist, as a volunteer, as a parishioner or one who works downtown or is a visitor, we share welcome and encouragement to each other. We share our prayers for understanding, patience and peace at home, in our country and around the world. 

Your heartfelt gifts fund essentials such as heat, lights, Mass, music, the Sacraments, service to those in need, and all Saint Olaf ministries. You make possible all that distinguishes Saint Olaf as a downtown parish. You give generously with a grateful heart for all the blessings God has given you.

RECURRING GIFTS
Your contributions can be automatically debited from your checking or savings account on a regular basis. If, at any time you want to stop, please call Mary Kennedy, Parish Administrator, at 612-767-6204, to change or cancel your recurring gift.

MEMORIAL & TRIBUTE GIFTS
Remember those people in your life that have made a difference by making a tribute or memorial gift to Saint Olaf’s. Gifts are acknowledged with a letter to the person honored or to the family of a person who has passed into eternal life.

STOCK GIFTS

IRA GIFTS
Your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) can be put to use in donating to Saint Olaf when you reach 72 and need to start taking income from your IRA via the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).  Click here to learn about how to use your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) to donate to Saint Olaf.  As always, work with your professional financial planner to source the best program to meet your giving needs.

LEGACY GIVING VIA ONE OF SAINT OLAF'S TWO ENDOWMENT FUNDS
Consider a "Forever Gift" to Saint Olaf.  Planned giving allows you to make a lasting gift to Saint Olaf.
