SAINT OLAF’S MAIN CHURCH WILL BE OPEN ON
SATURDAY, APRIL 11,
2026 AT 11:00am FOR PRIVATE PRAYER
From Archbishop Bernard A. Hebda:
Our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV,
has asked that all people of
goodwill
join him to pray for peace tomorrow,
Saturday, April 11.
While thousands are expected to join him in
Saint Peter’s Square at 6 p.m. in Rome,
I am inviting you
to join in praying for peace,
whether at home or at your parish.
Catholic parishes in the Archdiocese
of Saint
Paul and Minneapolis
are being
asked to open their
doors for prayer
at the same time, 11:00am Central.
This will be an opportunity
for us to unite to ask
Jesus, the Prince of Peace,
to bring
peace to our violent and troubled world,
particularly at a time of escalating
armed conflict.
I will
be celebrating a previously scheduled
Confirmation at the Cathedral
at that time and will be asking
the
newly confirmed and their
families
to pray for peace.
