Fr. Terry Beeson will be leading reflections and meditation on scripture passages to deepen our personal connections to the different mysteries of the rosary.

Starting the first Monday of Lent (March 10) after the 12:00Noon Mass, we will meditate on the Joyful Mysteries; the second Monday (March 17), the Luminous Mysteries; the third Monday (March 24), the Sorrowful Mysteries; the fourth Monday (March 31), the Glorious Mysteries. Fr. Beeson will share which scripture passage to meditate upon and some questions that may help jump-start your personal reflection.

Topics of conversation range from Bible Study, to decades of the rosary, to discussion about the Catholic faith and understanding its tenets.

As Catholics we are blessed with not only a relationship with Our Lord, but with His mother as well. This Lenten Series will parallel the last seven words of Jesus from the cross, with the few words spoken by Our Lady in scripture. We will examine how Mary helped prepare Jesus for His public ministry and her role after Jesus does begin His ministry. We will look closely at pondering the purpose of life, how to get to know God’s will better, and explore Mary’s silence at the foot of the Cross. Looking at the Gospel story from these two perspectives offers hope and comfort to the fears and problems of today’s Christian. 

These reflections will be guided by Fr. Wehmann after the 12:00Noon Mass until 1:00pm on Wednesday March 12th, 19th and 26th.
