Series on Grief

Series on Grief
November 6
12:30 PM to 1:30 PM

Are you struggling with coping with the death of someone? Are you struggling to understand, accept and recover from the loss in your life?

Grief is an individual journey but it may help as a Catholic to explore your feelings and experience in light of the Gospel message of faith, hope, love and with others who have gone through the death of a loved one. Jesus in His Sermon on the Mount says “(B)lessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted” (Matthew 5:4). The Gospels remind us that Jesus wept over the death of His good friend Lazarus. When we mourn we know we are in good company. In this 6-week series we will use Sacred Scripture, tradition of the Catholic Church and each other’s experiences for healing and understanding. This series will focus on the spiritual side of grief to help us foster healing and growth.

Join us after the 12:00Noon Mass until 1:30pm on Wednesdays, October 16, 23, 30 and November 6, 13, and 20. Led by Fr. Wehmann, no registration required
