Small Faith-Sharing Groups
A variety of days/times will be organized into three series spanning 6-8 weeks this fall, winter and during Lent. The small groups provide a supportive environment for prayer, faith-sharing, and now a place to reflect on ways to deepen our participation in the Mass.
Beginning the week of January 12, the small group offerings include the following options:
•Sundays, 11:15am -12:45pm (right after the 10:00am Mass)
•Tuesdays, 8:00am - 9:15am
•Tuesdays, 6:30pm - 8:00pm
•Thursdays, 12:30pm - 2:00pm (right after the 12:00Noon Mass)
•Saturdays, 10:00am - 11:30am
This 8-week winter series will end the week of February 23rd. Come for one session, come for them all! If you couldn't make it to the fall sessions, no problem! We'd love to have you attend this winter.
The primary resource in addition to our experience of participating in the mass will be the book “Participation of the Heart: Deeper Engagement in the Mass” by Vicki Klima. She retired as Parish Director here at Saint Olaf a few years ago, after many years also as teacher and liturgist, including nearly 20 years as Director of the Worship Center for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. She will also be presenting at other parish-wide events.
